NBC LX was a small, online only branch of NBC catering more towards Millennials and Gen Z viewers. The goal was to make news and politics interesting and engaging again for younger audiences that were used to more short-form, Tik Tok style videos, while also impressing on them the importance of their voices and opinions in the political world.

This client primarily wanted to focus on real pictures of real people and real locations in a style inspired by the U.S. Constitution. I aged real paper in my home using tea, coffee grounds, and my oven and photographed the final result on a downshooter to capture the custom texture and apply it to the images and background. To complete the look, I roughened the edges of the images and holding shapes digitally to make it look ripped and aged.
